ABOUT: Painted from the surfers’ perspective, this work focuses on the emotive feeling generated by the surging foam gathered on the surface and sand swell beneath the wave, while looking beyond to the landmark known as ‘Watonga Rocks’. The detailed work of the houses that line the beach known as Lighthouse Beach in Port Macquarie NSW, draw the viewer in for a closer look. A drone was used to source the reference material for this piece.

Painted with high quality Gamblin Artists’ Oils on premium stretched canvas, finished with Windsor and Newton Gloss varnish for UV protection and longevity. Comes with an authenticity certificate for insurance and valuation purposes.
