These bright Male Splendid (Left) & Superb (Right) Fairy-Wren Birds are painted in their breeding plumage. They shimmer in electric shades of violet-blue, turquoise and pale-blue, relieved only by a few bands of inky black feathers. A joy to watch in the wild and a joy to paint!
