ABOUT: The Fantail (also known as Pīwakawaka) is one of New Zealand’s best known and favourite birds. It is a friendly species with an inquisitiveness towards humans that brings a smile to most! It has a beautiful fanned tail, a distinctive loud song and regularly gives cute ‘cheep cheep’ calls in a number of situations, such as when foraging or alarmed. A joy to watch in the wild and a joy to paint!

This original one-off artwork has been painted with high quality Langridge Professional Artists’Oil (handmade in Melbourne) on A3 canvas, finished with Windsor & Newton Gloss varnish for UV protection & longevity. Comes with a collectors authenticity certificate for valuation and insurance purposes.
