ABOUT: Violet is a frequent visitor outside the artist’s studio window and photographed for inspiration for such a composition! This finely detailed and eye catching painting aims to bring out the beautiful features of one of Australia’s most iconic birds – the Laughing Kookaburra is unmistakable. There are only slight differences in appearance between the sexes, with a blue tail in the male & reddish-brown with blackish bars in the female.

This original one-off artwork has been painted with high quality Langridge Professional Oil (handmade in Melbourne) on A3 canvas. It is finished with Windsor & Newton Gloss varnish for UV protection & longevity. It comes with a collectors authenticity certificate for valuation and insurance purposes.
